Short project description: ING IT Ops as operating services department for ING had to copy with a costly, tiresome and hard to manage commodity ordering process for internal employees, for which ING decided to improve by introducing an intranet Webshop. Additional challenges where next to the number of involved suppliers like Getronics, Atos and Accenture covering different delivery service areas, the large set of (uncategorized) business requirements. The assignment was to deliver the Intranet website within a year for all ING, including an instantiated helpdesk.
Objectives: eliminate inefficient and costly paper commodity ordering process for all ING staff (30000) by introduce centralized helpdesk and helping ING (OPS IT) to develop an Intranet web shop to enable ING staff to order IT commodity equipment, agile/Scrum development
